Without you guys, I don't think we would have won the day. That is for sure.
To be honest, and I hate to say it, I think we all owe Admiral Australia our gratitude for the last minute save. Not to mention now Earth has it's first Dreadnaught in it's fledgling interstellar Navy.
I would also like to thank a certain mechanical friend for considering taking up my offer in joining up with Delta Squadron. This I hope wasn't a light decision.
I would also like to tip my hat to the sacrifice of my colleague and compatriot, Ghost, who gave himself for a higher cause. Although I have a suspicion he may not be dead...
Finally, I would like everyone to remember the sacrifices of our brave and loyal compatriots who gave everything, including their lives, for the sake of our mission.
Also we should note the proper decision of the few Villains who listened to their hearts and not their wallets in the matter of betraying us at the last moment. I never thought a Villain would have a conscience, and perhaps there is a chance for redemption in them.
Last, but not least...
I WANT A DARNED SPACESUIT, D.M.O!!!
Some Radiation protection wouldn't hurt either...
In fact, some overall safety equipment would be a good acquisition...

I agree wholeheartedly. Though I prefer to give credit to Techie John who, as a fellow science geek, would have more of a part in actually repairing said Dreadnought... and besides he's fantawesome (a Techie John word) and AA is... well... kinda arrogant. And I'm being generous there as I had maybe 5 0r 10 minutes face time with the good Admiral. (Which is probably 5 or 10 minutes too long...)
Yeah, well maybe the DMO didn't want to give us the wrong idea? It's historical fact that pilots in WWI weren't given parachutes (at least early on)- as it was thought that it would imply that pilots might actually get shot down. And that would be bad for morale. Just a thought.
Anyways, this one goes out to my boys (and girl) at the Agency and all the heroes (whether we got to meet or not). Special props to those who made the ultimate sacrifice: Ghost, Magus, Alecto and anyone else that I missed. Special props also to those 'villains' that did the right thing and stuck it through. Like it or not, that was a pretty heroic thing you did. Welcome to this side of the cape and spandex crowd.
And for you double-crossing villains: watch your back. |

DUDE! That Australian dude SLEPT the WHOLE trip to Mars. And MAN does he SNORE. It was unreal. We spent the first 30 minutes of the trip trying to figure out whatthe FRAK was wrong with the ship. It sounded like it was gonna blow up AGAIN! Turned out it was the aussie sawin logs in some storage cabinet.
And who do you think whipped up the crystal-bonding boots he was wearing that kept him on the hull of the damn ship because he just HAD to be riding on the outside for our big entrance.
Props have to be given to everybody on the Dreadnaught though. We could NOT have fixed up the ship in time to get to mars! |

First, I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea, but Techie John's role wasn't at all small. (By the way, the fine you owed at Freedom City Central Library is forgiven... I pulled a few strings, bud.)
Second... I'm crunchy. VERY crunchy. What looks odd to you makes sense to me. Luckily I've just got the initial threads moving to get what I need with my continued work with Delta Squadron.
Heh... almost forgot, I'm getting married in a month. Lucrecia's been an angel through the conflict. |

Techie is an amazing guy. I don't want to sound egotistical or anything, but I'm no slouch in either brains and gadgeteering expertise. And Techie never fails to surprise me. And don't fall into the trap of thinking that Techie's just field support for us Agency field agents. He can rumble with the best of them, as several villains can attest (most recently Apparatus Master, Bubba Slim and Outrage). Just keep him stocked on Ho Ho's and he's good. I really should talk to him about an endorsement deal - I mean he did just kinda help save the Earth. I should give Hostess a call...
Congrats on the wedding. I'll admit to being a tad jealous, to be honest. I don't have much a social life, to be honest. Between the 'day' job (which often becomes a night or even weekend job, depending on what's going on - all at no extra pay, of course) and my cape-time with the Agency...
Ah well, no one said being a costumed vigilante was glamorous. But it does have perks. how many people can say that they've been to both the moon and Mars? Pretty cool stuff. Pretty cool, indeed. |

Well, we're starting to get close to that 1 year mark regarding our exploits. It's been a long, amazing trip.
Alien Invasions
Planets slipping from orbit
Library fines collected
You know how it is.
On my end, Delta Squadron has went to the four winds and I haven't had much contact with the team. I really miss the whole lot of them. My world hasn't been too good either. My fiancee died not too long after the invasion was thwarted. Seems some sort of alien virus was tested on her as some sort of biological weapon.
Thank god she was the only victim.
After all that, I decided to hang around stateside in Minneapolis, MN, and help them get their libraries up and running again after most of the town got all buggered up.
So... how's your off-time been, guys? |

Sorry to hear of your loss. I know it's not much, but I have feeling anything else I say is going to ring hollow.
It's been... eventful here. Where to begin? Well first of all, "here" isn't where it used to be... The team ended up moving from Vegas to Braham. Guess we did too good of a job in Vegas... no super crime to speak of. I've lost old friends and gained new ones. Been fired. Traveled through dimensions and time... altered things a bit, accidentally. (Whether the changes were ultimately for the better or not, is still open to debate). Discovered that I ended up inspiring the heroes that inspred me to become a hero... (time travel can make your head hurt, trust me). Met evil parallel universe versions of teammates and have been taunted (from a distance) by my own evil "twin". Allied with another local Meta team, including a few familiar faces from our invasion days. And somehow still found the time to avert an apocolypse or two. And there's still so much to do here.
I'm not promising anything, but if you ever need to get away from Freedom City - I'm sure we could find a place for you here in Braham. If nothing else, the library system here is pretty huge... and between the Aegis League, the Unbroken Alliance and Delphi... I'm pretty sure we could hook you up with a compatible team.
(OOC: Not sure if either of he continuing groups have open spots or not, if that's even an option for you...? Greg and Aaron should be able to answer that, I would think...) |

Sounds like you've not had a boring day for a while.
Minneapolis is surprisingly busy with street-level Super-Villains. Been pretty successful in fighting them, but seems that there is a bigger need elsewhere. I'll look into things, but I may have other things on my plate. (Two teams in the UK (London and Cardiff), One Tokyo team (Knowing Japanese has it's perks) and a current solo job in Minneapolis.)
Don't consider that you're in a line. If there is a big need, I like to fill said needs.
the Super-Villain world has forgotten that Paper beats EVERYTHING.
((OOC: I was hoping Timm would get things rolling back last year, but phbbbbt. No dice. I've been looking for a group since. If any of those you mentioned were interested, I'll have my EMail and PMs active so I can be gotten a hold of.)) |

Know you're quite the Whovian, so I'm assuming that's a little Torchwood reference? |

Not intended. But coincidence is a pretty little thing.
((OOC: I needed two locales in the UK. Most logical choices since both are port towns on either side of the island Britian is on.)) |
