-Begin transaction 01-
I had been in the damn trade federation prison for 2 years and there was no chance of escaping. All the droid ships that came to pick up the ore that we mined had no life support, so it would be great for us to escape from the prison but we would be stuck on the damn rock with no way of. I trusted no one, I talked to no one but Mech, and I sure as hell never let my guard down.
We worked long shifts, 15-18 hour and sometimes more, we would sit there and mine ore on the surface of the rock and when we finished we had time to rest, explore, etc.. I didn’t do much sleeping, I trusted no one in my room but Mech the other Bothan. I did a lot of exploring, heck I could even say I know the prison more then I would know anything (other then a deck of cards or a bar). Pretty much the center of the space we were allowed to enter was the cafeteria, where we ate, played games, and (well for everyone else) socialized. Then below the cafeteria were our holding areas, which were meant to hold at least 20 although ours only held 7. Then to the left of our holding cells was the mining area where we worked. To the right of our cells was the ship docks where droid ships came to drop of prisoners and pick up any ore we’d mined. Above the cafeteria and to the left was the droid command center. Above and to the right of the cafeteria was the barracks for anyone who willingly came to the prison could stay. And below that were the individual holding cells.
The only time I slept would be when I was alone in the room or Mech was in there awake. I must say Mech is a good man, I watched he back and he watched mine. Although it’s very likely that no one in the prison (droid or prisoner) would be able to do much damage to me.
The droids would periodically make all prisoners return to their rooms, because of something they felt would give us a chance to escape. One day we were all sent into our rooms and everyone was crowding around the door to see what was going on except for me and Mech who seemed to have no interest in what was happening. I saw something familiar outside and looked out it was a man frozen in carbon, something I had worked with many times in my previous jobs. Upon closer examination I noticed it was a Jedi. Obviously not only are Bothans smarter but they also have better eyes then any other species, because everyone was too fascinated by the fact of a carbonized man that they didn’t notice the long, silver, cylindrical object at the man’s side. I knew if I got could get to the holding cells I would find a way to kill him. That would be one less of the Jedi scum.
Soon enough they let us get back to our “free” time. I ran right to the door where they had taken the Jedi. The second I got close to the door it shut completely. I spent all my free time there and even sometimes snuck out of work and waited for a chance to get into the individual cells and murder the Jedi. I saw no way of getting in but stayed on top of it. One day I had been watching a couple droids play some rip of a gambling game I had once played. I knew I could beat them and I was thinking of playing when there was a huge tremor and all the droids fell over. I knew this was my chance; I ran up and picked up the droid guard’s stun weapon. I beat its head and helped another prisoner from my room, Critter, try and beat in the door.
Sirens started blaring and I droid started saying, “all prisoners back to their cells, al prisoners back*bang*,” and then silence. I could feel the door opening and when it did I knew it wasn’t because of me and Critter. There was a huge hall filled with dozens of droids. I knew I didn’t stand a chance I dropped my weapon and luckily Critter picked up a droid and destroyed a droid a long with it. I quick kicked the butt of the weapon and it flew up into my hands and I took down 1 or 2 when they stormed the room, I had not seen that the whole hall was filled along with a few farther down and the room was quickly filled with droids. I shot a couple and soon flipped and tumbled into the middle of the room.
To my surprise dozens of clone troopers filled in to the other end of the cafeteria and took out a bunch of droids. I was about to make a run for it when half the room started shooting at me. Only one got a lucky shot in, and it was a nice shot I must say. It weakened me but not to much. I ran out and into the ship docks. A handful of clone troops were motioning me into a ship of prisoners. I knew that I didn’t want to go in there and yelled “look out there’s a droid ship,” they all looked to where I had pointed and I snuck on to a freighter that had no one going In or coming out. I snuck up to the cock pit and saw Mech about to shoot at the two pilots.
He had 2 pistols in his hands and I noticed that they were the pilots. I motioned for him to give them to me and he did and I gave him my carbine. I took aim and fired. I missed the first one by a hair but shot the other just right to kill him. Mech made quick work of the other and started up the ship.
We were getting ready to take of when I saw the other 5 prisoners from our room running in. The only two things that were different were that Bonny was wearing a Jedi robe, Critter and Vandal each had a light saber, and that they had an extra member. He was definitely the Jedi I had seen earlier and apparently he had given Bonny his robes. As for Critter and Vandal I have no clue where the got the light sabers from, but I was guessing they were the Jedi’s. Whether or not they had stolen them was where I was questioning myself.
I turned to Mech and asked, “Can you go any faster then this?” I said pointing outside. “I’ll try,” he replied with a smirk. The Jedi took out the clones with a slap of his hand. We were seconds away from getting out of the hanger when we were stopped, and the loading dock was lowered. I ran to close it but knew that this was all the Jedi’s doing and I couldn’t help it. They all boarded and I turned to them and said, “Oh hey guys… I hadn’t seen you out there.”

Vandal's POV:
During the evacuation of the prison-mine I'd grabbed the body of one of the Clone Troopers killed fighting the Driods and lugged it aboard while everyone else carried the Jedi Master.
Once we lifted off - after realizing that I knew too little about ships to be useful doing anything - I began stripping the Trooper of his armor and cleaning him out of it. Once I had that done I traded the bodysuit under the armor for my Prison Costume and started on the rest of the armor.
I listened to the play-by-play with concern as we fought our way free of the system and into Hyper-Space.
First we were targeted by a trio of smaller fighters, but the two former prisoners who'd taken up our two gunnery stations managed to deal with them, though we took some hits from both them and debris from the asteroid field we were in. Just as the last of those exploded, two much-larger fighters homed in on us. Between hits from debris and a Proton Torpedo and some other fire, we were damned lucky to make Hyper-Space in one piece. Our hull looked as holey as swootze cheese in plastic wrap but all the systems were intact.
After a brief discussion we determined to go to Cloud City on Bespin. Our ship was still running an Imperial Military ID and that seemed to have frightened the City Administrator until he saw us, then he was more concerned about getting us out of sight just in case our "found" ship was closely followed by REAL Imperials.
Bonnie took off as soon as we landed, Prison Togs and all, looking for a bar, with one of the Bothans in tow. Mech kept sidling up to the city administrator looking far to sly for my taste and I warned him about the price of treachery and left him to think while I kept up with the others. I was a bit more worried that somebody might try to evict us from our ship before we could sell it than I was about what deviltry Mech might dream up.
Once we'd moved the ship to the underside of Cloud City we found a buyer who was willing to pay a pretty good amount for what was left of our ship and it's store of weaponry - which was everything that the rest of us hadn't claimed for ourselves.
With the ship sold, and flush with credits, the remainder of us retired to a hotel room to discuss our options. While we were talking the Jedi Master finally woke up, and explained to us some things that we were confused about.
One was that while we had been imprisoned, the Old Republic had fallen and been replaced by The Empire which seems intent on conquering everything it can get it's hands on. Another was that the Emperor had turned the Clone Troopers against the Jedi and nearly exterminated them. That explained why the Clone Captain had been willing to blow himself up in order to take out the Jedi Master. Then he explained that he and his Padawan had been investigating the Trade Federations strange interest in capturing Jedi when they'd been separated. He was sure his Padawan was still alive, but not sure where. He'd been investigating several leads when he'd allowed himself to be captured by the Trade Fed Droids in order to reach our prison. But he'd not counted on being frozen in Carbonite. He was certain his Padawan was still alive, somewhere, and tried to enlist our help. Most of us, the ones that hadn't absconded, agreed.
When he turned to me and asked me my intentions I told him that his story struck a chord, I'd been having the feeling for some time that somebody out there needed me to rescue her. I have a vague feeling it's somebody I knew once, though I'm not sure. I agreed to take on the Jedi Master's quest in the hopes that it leads me closer to completing my own. |

We had just escaped the prison and we were ready to take of to a planet (any planet as long as it was away from here) when I noticed 3 blips on the radar screen, and they were coming in hot. It looked like everyone was more interested with the stupid Jedi then with anything outside. Mech darted to the cock pit with Critter slowly following, while I went to search the ship. While looking I saw Vandal stripping a clone trooper of it's armor. I found 2 containers full of e-web parts, a couple containers of grenades, some clone trooper armor/ belts, about 50 medpacs, a captain's hat ( which I brought up for the captains), a space suit, but most importantly a sabacc deck.
I decided to see what was going on out in space. I noticed that we had taken out the 3 smaller ships but there were 2 much larger ones that the gunners were having trouble taking out. I knew that if the fragile human and quarren couldn't (and probably wouldn't) be able to take the ships out I would be doomed. So I ran to the docking bay and put on the space suit and opened the hatch. I peered out and there was only one other ship firing proton torpedoes and that they seemed to be doing a lot of damage to the ship. we were struggling without our shields and were having trouble taking down theirs.
I swung out and took aim with my pistol, I took one shot and knocked the shields down. The ship knew it was in trouble and it turned and started to take off. I knew that the gunners couldn't take it out (much less hit it) so I swung back inside and took of the suit.
I rushed into the cock pit where every one was yelling at each other about where to go, what to do with the Jedi, who would get what supplies, etc.. I knew somebody had to take charge and I knew nobody else would have the balls to do it, so I stepped up. I decided we needed to lay low travel somewhere isolated like Bespin (which was close). As for supplies don't take any type of clone trooper suits or belts, because your obviously not clones so how would you have gotten them. As for the Jedi I would kill, he's already in some type of weak trance, but we could turn him over for a bounty. Everyone agreed except for Critter who stood up and wouldn't allow me to give up the Jedi.
We decided to go to Bespin. We had a few days before we would land so I talked to Mech about a sinister plan I had, along with marking my sabacc deck. We landed in Cloud City and when we stepped out we were met by a peculiar character. He knew that we should not have had the ship, but I convinced him that we were in need of a ship and we stumbled across this one. He belived me and decided that he knew someone who would buy it and anything else on it. Bonnie had already taken of to god knows where, but everyone else headed with him. Right before they did Mech told me he knew some people that would help us get our plan started.
I headed straight to the cantina where I was able to steal a 100 credit tip. I sat down at the sabacc table and played for an hour or so (I can't remember how long actually). I walked out with 1000 credits and I saw Mech and told me that he had to let another prisoner in on the plan and they wanted half of whatever we got. Be us Bothans came up with yet another plan.

After deciding to invest some of our earnings from the sale of the Imperial Transport into a new ship we waited a week for it to be built and "shipped" to us. Bonnie wanted us to invest into a stripped-out Cruiser, but the rest of us decided we'd rather go with something a bit less conspicuous. I did some investigations and found out that there aren't any public reports out on any of us, at least there weren't. Damned Bothans. I contacted my "family friend" in the Bureaucracy and managed to arrange several "replacement" IDs for the group and offered to sell them to the others as a "just in case" measure in the event we need to go under cover. Only that drunken Jedi fellow - Critter - decided to take me up on that, and I got one for myself just in case, probably a darned good thing too.
I got my captured Imperial Trooper Armor refurbished, redesigned, and repainted to suit my taste and got a little practice in it as well as taking the time to attune it, which came in handy far too soon. I also traded in my captured Trooper Rifle in for a Heavy Blaster Pistol, which I'm much more familiar with using.
When we got the call that our ship was ready we gathered together to check her out. Mech was all sorts of happy about being named Captain - frigging goat - good thing we decided to name Bonnie as Owner.
The fellow who was supposed to show us our new ship turned out to be a decoy. He lead us directly into a trap set by Mech and a Bounty Hunter. Bastards had called in a small army of Imperial Troopers on us so they could collect their bounty on the Jedi Master. Mech got what every good Traitor should get though when the Bounty Hunter betrayed him. He SHOULD have shot him to save US the trouble, but he decided to throw Mech back at us and let US deal with him, or the Imperials, who-ever ended up winning. Nobody expected us to come out on top, and it seemed the outcome was very much in question considering some of the ineptitude I showed.
When the Imperials showed up and declared us under arrest I launched myself across the room into a cluster of them, hoping to make short work of the lot, but I proved utterly clumsy with the borrowed Lightsaber after two years of not holding one and couldn't seem to strike home. The armor probably saved my life though as I attracted a rather large amount of attention and the troopers hosed me down with their Rifles. Nothing hit me directly but I took a lot of minor damage from the spray. Enough to leave me feeling seriously hurt, but not enough to slow me down - yet.
Critter followed me a bit more slowly, he's very good at parrying blaster-bolts with his Lightsaber, but his offensive skills seemed as poor as my own. Thankfully the others did more than pull their weight with all the borrowed firearms and the Imperials dropped quickly despite my and Critters clumsiness. And the Jedi Master was pretty amazing to watch even though he was basically unarmed during the whole battle. Once battle was engaged the darned Bounty Hunter hid and then ran for his life. We were too busy to stop him, but we heard him use a comm to call for reinforcements - or perhaps that was the Imperial Captain, the haze of battle took me and I'm not sure on that point - and we beat feet to try and get to our ship in the hopes of outrunning what-ever new deviltry was called in. I hope we escape it because I don't feel up too much more fighting right now.
And as we started running for the ship, something started tugging at the back of my mind. Something that feels like it's connected to the dreams I've been having for a while now. She feels nearer than ever, where is she? |

We had decided that we needed a ship so Bonnie picked out a few (apparently) good options. I thought just pick one out that can get us from point A to point B with a ton of fire power and we'd be set, but apparently there is all sorts of other crap you need to think about before you buy a ship.
I was bored and left them to their bickering. I headed to the Catina and won myself a couple grand gambling and had myself a few drinks. Although I should feel happy about that I couldn't stop thinking what might go wrong in the plan. I figured there were a few different options...
A. Nothing goes wrong and Mech and I get all the credits to ourselves and the bounty hunter
B. We end up having to give away another half to Marlina
C. The bounty hunter turns on us trying to take it all for himself
Now I thought that most likely C. would come into play. I thought this because I know the mind of a bounty hunter, I should considering I am one. They are greedy. Very greedy.
I couldn't stop thinking of what might go wrong but ended up just forgetting about it. Sadly I should have done something about this. Because when we were heading towards the new ship that we'd bought Mech's data pad was "malfunctioning" and "getting him mixed up". He said that he was going to ask for directions. Right then I knew something was going to go wrong. I started to back away and I saw Mech talking to a man in armor with a hold out blaster. I saw Mech point and the I heard the bounty hunter say time to get my bounty. And Mech replied with no, our bounty. And the bounty hunter chuckled and said my bounty and pushed him towards us.
You can never trust a bounty hunter. I knew that I should have done it myself. It would have been cleaner and I would have had at least a small challenge.
The next moment we were surrounded by imperial troopers. Vandal launched into the midst of them with critter, while the rest of us started taking out the closer ones. I tried to find a place to hide but we were surrounded on all sides. The only way out was by force. The bounty hunter took of within seconds leaving his troops to deal with us. We made short work of them, I finally found a place to hide but by then it was pretty much over. We finished off the rest of them and we started to the ship. They weren't taking any chances and decided to drag Mech along, even if most of them would rather see him lying face down in a pool of his own blood. |

We ran from the first ambush point dragging Mech along with us. Heading towards what we expected to be a much worse one. From an observation area just outside the landing area where our new ship waited for us we saw another squad of Imperials - including an E-web team, and an AT-ST. We could see the local we were supposed to sign off on the ship to arguing futilely with the Imperial Officer. The others were in a panic about what to do, not wanting to face the AT-ST and they dithered while hiding in the observation lounge. I decided quickly that if we didn't move soon, we were sunk, and that I was going to have to be the one to get us moving.
I picked my avenue of attack and charged out through the observation door, heading towards the E-web team and the AT-ST, the rest raggedly followed me out, taking pot-shots at the Imperials. Thankfully the Imperials were slow to react and I was already on top of the E-web team before they got off their first shot which went wild. Likewise for the AT-ST just behind the E-web. I was still having trouble using the Jedi Master's backup 'saber though and several of my swings went wild before I connected with the E-web gunner and took him out of the fight. The AT-ST kept backing up as it poured fire into us, but most of it's shots went wild.
I charged it, taking another wild swing that failed to connect to anything but air. The others somewhere behind me tied up the Imperial Commander and the remaining troops, taking them down one by one. Critter decided to charge the commander who seemed like the only competent soldier in the group and they traded punishing blows back and forth until one of our gunners managed to finish the Imperial while the rest of his unit dropped like flies.
I finally got a decent hit on the AT-STs leg that semi-crippled it as the Jedi Master leaped up on top of it and used the Force to yank the access-door off and tossed it off the ledge, along with the scout-gunner who had been desperately holding onto it in the hopes of holding it closed.
The Master called down to me to join the others and get aboard our ship and I took another last swipe as I turned to help the others pick up our unconscious companion. Much to my surprise my hit connected solidly with the far leg that had come around as it stumbled on the nearer one I'd nearly sheared, and THAT one came entirely off and the AT-ST crashed into the ground. The Master yanked the driver out with the Force and left him sitting on the ground clutching the remains of his controls. When he got up to run, that traitor Mech shot him down. Not that I felt all that bad about it, but Mech shouldn't have had any weapons on him.
Critter had run aboard first and gotten the engines up and running while the rest of us grabbed things and boarded. I grabbed Mech and took away his weapons and tools and found a cabin to lock him into, and the Master decided to settle down in front of his cabin and keep watch on him, and prevent us from performing any mayhem on the traitor. I'm still debating if Mech's new quarters shouldn't be the waste-disposal chute until we need to dump some trash somewhere.
We are free, but out in a Galaxy that got a lot more dangerous while we were imprisoned, and we don't know who out here we can trust, and now I'm left to wonder whom amongst this ragged little band I can trust as well.
I DO know that I feel like I'm moving in the right direction, I just wish I knew when I'd get there. |

We had taken out the first small army of clones and decided to make our way to the ship. We couldn't go straight to it considering the clones had blocked almost every street of. So we took the long way. Sneaking in and out trying to find the ship. I had no trouble but for awhile I was sure that the rest of the group would be caught, luckily I have the skill to stay sneaking in the midst of a battle so that at least the most important member would stay alive.
We got to an observation deck in front of our ship. It was heavily guarded. There was a couple dozen clones, and e-web, and an AT-ST. I knew that I wouldn't stand a chance running in first so I decided to sneak into the middle of the battle field. Before I could though Vandal ran up to the e-web team and started hacking at them, although it seemed he was doing little damage... I mean what do you expect though. The Jedi master ran to one of the railings with Mech and looked around for someone. I was about to take a shot at him when he turned to my general area (he didn't know where I was, because you can't see me if I don't want you to see me, and I didn't want to be seen) and said watch him, pointing at Mech.
Mech looked up and pleaded saying that Bothans need to stick together and that I should help him sneak on the ship and we could take of. That sounded good and all but it didn't work to well last time when the Jedi was still weak, so what gave him the impression it would work now? Not a chance I replied and took of to find some cover in the middle of the battle field. By the time I got there they had only lost a couple soldiers and I decided they needed the the help of a true master. I whipped out my pistols and took some shots at the clones. I took out a few of them along with the man on the e-web. Vandal and the Jedi struggled to take down the AT-ST and Critter ran into the ship, he later claimed it was to try and use the guns to take down the AT-ST but I think he just couldn't take in all the action.
Soon enough we took down the AT-ST and we were running to the ship when I noticed the Jedi had let one of the AT-ST pilots walk away I took aim but Mech beat me to it. We took of and soon saw a huge ship I wanted to try and board it but I wasn't the pilot and I was the only one that wasn't to scared to do it. Critter launched us into hyperspace. The crew decided to take Mech's weapons away and throw him into one of the cabins and the Jedi said he would keep guard. Everyone was looking for suggestions and I knew we would be safe on Bothawui and I had some unfinished business there. Nobody seemed to listen to or trust Bothans anymore so I headed to the cock pit and typed up my own course to Bothawui.
I most have done my job right and they set a course as well, to bad we already had a course and the nav computer was going with my idea. Bonnie had picked up some weapons from an arc trooper and was handing them out, I picked up a heavy blaster pistol and had Bonnie upgrade my heavy blaster pistol and my blaster pistol, to bad when we stopped I found two blaster carbines that caught my eye. I sold the pistols and picked up the carbines. Later on we landed on another planet where I couldn't help but gamble a little more. |

After our rushed evacuation of Cloud City thanks to the Traitor Mech, we managed to be lost for nearly a month before reaching another system, which turned out to be Bothui, NOT where we'd originally decided. We are trying to determine if our ships navigation computer is broken or what is causing this, and so far all we've been able to determine is that between our ships nav comp and the navigation beacons, they cannot agree on our coordinates at all.
Thirty days trapped on that small ship in the middle of no-where wondering what was going to go wrong next, with Mech locked in "detention" the whole time.
We finally decided to have our little discussion with him once we eventually made Bothui. He wasn't very cooperative with us. In fact the little begger decided to turn suspicions up a notch by claiming that he wasn't alone in his little plot. But he wouldn't tell us WHO was also in on it. In the end we held a vote to decide whether we should keep Mech around or toss him off at the next landing. The final decision was to keep him around where we could keep an eye on him.
The Jedi Master decided that this would be a good time for us to talk to the others and determine where their loyalties lay. In the end I found myself being uncomfortably alone as far as who I felt I could trust. With this bit of nicety out in the open, the Master told us that there was a lead in this area he'd wanted to follow, and we might as well follow it up. The lead involved a Pirate who was using Droids as part of his forces.
We sent the Drunken Jedi along with the other Bothan to see what they could learn. While they were out I took off on a mission of my own. I found somebody in the local criminal underground and gave him some info to use against Mech if he ever manages to succeed in another attempted treachery. The arrangement is simple enough. I gave my contact the Serial Numbers of several Imperials including the two pilots of the ship we stole when we made our break from the mine, and the officer of the Imperial Unit we destroyed at Cloud City, and told him that if anything happens to me, or if I contact him and give him the go-ahead, he's to drop info to the Imperials and the local News Media that Mech was behind it all. I'll inform Mech about this soon, it might convince him to continue to be cooperative, or at least to be very careful about what happens to me.
I managed to get back to the ship in time to see Critter practicing with his Lightsaber with the Master, and no sign of the other Bothan. Shortly after I got back, he returned alone though and gave us the heads-up on what he'd learned. Apparently the pirate recently had a run-in with the Imperials and both sides had limped away. He'd hired a bunch of mechanics to help him do ship repairs somewhere out in some nearby nebula. We decided to head there in the off chance we'd find him and learn something useful.
Amazingly enough our nav comp worked perfectly for that jump, in fact TOO perfectly, which I found rather suspicious. But once we were in, I managed to spot the pirate ship and my insistent feelings of somebody I knew being in danger increased. I insisted that we go in, and the Master informed us that he'd be able to cloak our ship from visuals of the various Pirates as long as we did nothing aggressive like firing on them. We decided to give it a try.
We determined, mostly thanks to Mech's assistance, that the detention facilities on that class of ship is on the lower part of the central globe, so we maneuvered around to dock there. We managed to force open one of the docking bays without alerting anyone and went in to investigate.
The closer we got to the detention section the more insistent my feelings of being needed became and I ended up in an argument with the others when Mech and I disagreed on which direction to take. When the others argued with me about why "I" should think I know my way around better than Mech, I told them that they were going to just have to trust me, that I was following "destiny" - they weren't too happy about that and demanded answers I didn't exactly have at the moment. While our conversation turned more heated I became alerted to the fact that several droids were just around the corner from us, and decided I wasn't going to continue the argument until we'd alerted the battle droids. Instead I drew my Lightsaber and told them to either follow me, or Mech, and charged around the corner at the Droids.
My decisiveness pulled everyone else into action as well and very quickly we'd managed to destroy most of the Battle Droids and several Super Battle Doids. I charged into the midst of the Droids again and again, cleaving through pairs of them with nearly every swing. I drew a lot of fire as well, and the Battle Droids habit of spraying an area caught me several glancing blows. How-ever, by taking their attention, I kept the Droids from firing on anyone else other than Critter, who held his own and came out of it in better shape than I did. I finally was forced to take a quick breath to recover some strength as we came to the last of the Droids that were out in the open. Mech managed to pull his own weight with Bonnie keeping a close eye on him as they jumped one of the computer terminals. Very shortly Mech announced that he'd gotten into the security system in our area and asked what to do. I yelled for him to shut down the turbo's and he did that and shut the blast doors after telling us he was seeing several units of Droids converging on our area. He also said he could see a trio of MagnaGuards and two more Super BDs inside the detention chambers, and a pair of prisoners, and the droids were all waiting for somebody to open the detention doors. I stopped outside them and readied myself to attack if the doors opened, and Critter came up beside me and opened them. A quick flurry of blows and shots later the MagnaGuards and the last pair of SBDs went down. Of the two prisoners, one was a male who insisted he was a famous/infamous pirate and that he'd pay us a fortune if we helped him recover his ship that had been "taken over" by the Droids. I didn't like the timber of his voice as he talked and felt that he was liberally dosing his statements with lies. The other prisoner was somebody I feared I'd never see again. Solace, at least.
She was drugged and hardly conscious, this is one of those times when I wish I had some medical training, but I suppose I'm going to have to make do and see what I can do to awaken her.
The pirate claims that there is a control room or something on the ship that will allow him to shut off all the droids and he wants our help getting there, claiming he'll reward us with a vast fortune if we do. Something in his voice sounds wrong to me. He'd plotting something, and I have my own guesses what that will be. I do know this, if the group decides to go with him, I'm too exhausted and injured to take the front-lines, and if I have to carry Solace, I won't be doing that from in the front lines of the fight. Somebody else will have to take up that honor.
I wonder if this is the right time to start talking to them about why I'm here. We'll just have to see. |

After a long and aggravatingly quite month of flying to Bothawui we landed and I knew my way around the city. We had to find information on the pirate that might be containing the padawan. I knew that I would have the best chance finding it out because I had connections all through out the spynet. So I offered and they all agreed but they made some one come with, and it just so happened to be the drunken jedi... hurray.
I had no problem finding some one that could help us. She was a female bothan that knew just about everything that passed through the spynet. She owned and ran her own cafe where we met her. She said that I could find out everything that I needed for a mere 3,000 credits. So I forked over the credits and thanked her and she said that she would have the info by the end of the day. We were escorted out and I said that I was going to find a nice cantina and settle in for the time being. Sadly the drunk decided that he wanted to come as well. I thought that it was bad enough he had to come to the cafe with me but to also go to a cantina with me was going to far. So I soon lost him and found a nice little cantina to gamble in.
By the time I needed to get going I had won about 52,000 credits. So I was satisfied for the moment. I got to the cafe and the lady handed over the info. On the way out I noticed Bonnie and Marlina waiting for something. I don't like being watched so I managed to sneak out. Later at the ship I noticed Critter fighting with the master. He looked like an amateur. I could take both of them out in my sleep. Any way I forked over the info and every one seemed satisfied with it and were ready to take of. Damn. I was hoping to spend a little more time getting to know the spynet and see if I could be of any use to them.
We soon got to the pirates ship and it looked very beat up. I knew it had just come back from a fight but to lose a huge part of the ship was a bit much. The master told us that he could conceal the ship but then he would have to stay on the ship while we looked for the padawan. He did his thing and got us on board. We snuck for the most part into the area we needed to be but then it got tricky, because there were about a dozen battle droids and about 10 super battle droids stationed so we couldn't sneak past them. So we fought our way through. Mech was able to help us by shutting down the alarms, shutting the blast doors, turning of the turbo lifts, and loading a map for us. We were informed that in the prison cells there were 3 mana guards and 2 super battle droids. We opened the door and surprisingly made short work of them. We got to the cells where we saw 2 figures. Neither of which were the padawan. But one of the prisoners said that if we released him he would make us rich beyond measure. I knew he was lying but I wasn't sure about what. |

SW-Saga week 6
Solace was still out of it, and so I ended up carrying her while the group decided what to do next. At first everyone was intent on listening to the Pirate that we had "rescued" along with Solace as he promised he could shut down all the droids if he could reach his ships command. But the droids were working frantically to reach us, and shutting down all the passages, so in the end we fled back to our ship. Though the Pirate decided to try sneaking through an access-panel and ended up trying to shoot it out with us and we left him.
We escaped after taking substantial damage from the Droids on the way out. We landed on another Bothan colony and I spent the next several hours recovering from the injuries I'd taken fighting the Droids and watching over Solace. Everyone else was supposed to help with repair details, but Mech openly refused to help, even though he's our most skilled mechanic, and he and the other Bothan took off. While they were gone the rest of us decided to evict them and we changed the access codes to the ship.
While we were working on all of that, somehow that Mercenary that Mech had tried to sell us to - Hound - showed up and asked us, not very nicely, to help him find out what the Droids were doing with the captured Jedi. He informed us that an Imperial Team was on site at the location he was going to send us and that we should watch out for them. I suggested to the others, since Hound had told us to expect a group of eight Imperials in the other team, that perhaps we would want to pad our numbers a little, and rethink our position on the Bothans. Hound insisted on going and talking to them so we left him to it.
In return for doing his dirty work for him he refitted our ship back to full-function and provided us some equipment. We grabbed a variety of useful things. And took off, heading for the coordinates that Hound had given us.
Once we landed the Jedi Master started getting antsy, we were near a large factory facility that looked long disused. I spotted a pair of droids and we quickly took those out, but then a pair of huge hulking war-droids popped up out of the wreckage, one nearly smeared one of the Bothans against the wall before the little rat skittered away. The Jedi Master jumped on that one while I lead the charge at the second one. A concerted effort took it down quickly while the Master dealt with the other. The girls and the Squid had circled around the far side and followed the weak sounds of a voice calling for help. The found a girl that matched the description of the Master's Padawan in a regeneration tank all hooked in with a variety of tupes and cables attached to her. They managed to extract her while we finished the hulks.
It was while we were trying to retreat back to our ship that we ran in to the Imperials, nice luck that. Apparently they recognized the Jedi Master and his Padawan, and immediately demanded we surrender them. Instead we tried to run back to our ship. We could see just beyond them that a bunch of droids of various sorts were moving to attack the Imperials, we thought we'd leave them to that, but they decided to chase us. We took the high ground back in the factory by climbing some stairs and destroying them behind us, but the Imperials managed to grab some of their vehicles and chased us, taking pot-shots at us. Eventually we got tired of being shot at without any return-fire from us and we hunkered down and tried to take out their vehicles. I called to the others to try to take out their main vehicle in the hopes of taking the vehicle and as many of it's passengers as possible out of the fight. To my surprise, Bonnie had managed to get a rocket-launcher somewhere, and two of the others popped up with grenade-launchers. Suddenly the Imperials called for a cease-fire and we continued our run to our ship. One of them - I'll assume a Sith considering his amazing prowess of jumping many meters into the air where we could see him in several bounds - asked if we'd been working for Hound. I responded, "YES! Good time to ask!" and continued running with the others.
We made it back to our ship, embarked, and lifted off. Shortly after we had we jumped away again the Jedi Master called us in to discuss our next step. That's when things suddenly took a turn for the utterly WEIRD. His Padawan had taken a pair of Lightsabers he'd made for her, and she planted them in his lower-back, turned them on, and sliced him neatly in half while we watched in utter aghast! |

Most of us were wanting to go and see what the man was talking about but vandal, his new friend or whatever (I think it might actually be his padawan), Mech, and bonnie all wanted to stay behind and keep an eye on the situation from the terminal. So the rest of us went to find out what he had been talking about.
We were able to sneak around the ship until we noticed a huge group of battle droids, super battle droids, and a seemingly harmless astromech droid. We took down the battle droids and the super battle droids when all of a sudden the astromech droid attacked critter. I was thinking that it might be at least a little useful. But by the time I got to the droid he had all ready been slashed up by critter.
We all noticed that the pirate was cowering in a corner but when we got there we noticed he was trying to open and must likely escape through an air vent. I thought it meant nothing and while the rest of the team were bitching about what to do next I grabbed him by the collar and started into the vent. But he got stuck, all though it is something to expect from a man of that "size". He was squirming around and I offered to cut him out with critter's lightsaber but he somehow withdrew a blaster pistol and took a shot at me. I have no idea where he had been keeping it but have a few guesses. He then took of into the vent.
We all decided against following him because we had just been informed that droids we closing in on our location. Although before we left Tarrok and I each grabbed a canister that had been sitting near by. We snuck back to the group and we got a call from the master saying that he had moved the ship closer so we could get out quicker. We got there and took of just in time, because we just noticed 2 droidekas roll into the room. They flew out into space, threw up their shields and fired at us doing a considerable amount of damage.
When we exited hyperspace we were back in Bothan space and decided to land on the nearest planet. I decided to take a look in my canister. I saw a glass jar, nothing abnormal yet, but in the jar was a beating heart. It didn’t intrigue me or even frighten my. But I did think how bad the owner must be feeling. I should put it out of its misery. I threw it against the floor and walked out. The rest of the group were stunned, and they tried to get me to clean it up, but its not my ship so why do I care.
Later on I remembered that sometimes smugglers would put something over their loot to try and hide it from any onlookers. So I took another look just in case. I saw another smaller canister which contained about a dozen crystals that changed color from the chilled canister to my warm hand. I thought I could make decent amount for them so I informed Mech and we snuck of the ship. We found a store not to far from the ship and asked what the crystals were. They said that they were mostly used for jewelry but occasionally a jedi might use for his lightsaber. She claimed that if used for a lightsaber the color would change from blue to green and back, throughout the span of the user’s life. We talked it over and decided to sell half of them for 7000. We split up the credits and headed back to the ship.
When we got there though the ship’s docking bay had been shut and locked. That shouldn’t be but we thought maybe the team had left quickly or they just didn’t want something getting in. So we put in the codes but they wouldn’t work. I guess they didn’t want us getting back in. On the com we heard Tarrok and Marlina. They asked us where we had been. So I calmly explained/lied saying that I had just been exploring the planet because it is the only Bothan planet I had not yet visited and I just noticed Mech was with me on the way back. Of course they never really have believed the Bothans lately and what should change that now. So the explained that they didn’t want or need us (even if I am the best shot in the group). So we left because we can take care of ourselves. Soon enough we were stopped by Hound the bounty hunter that we tried to sell the Jedis to back on bespin. He told us that he needed us to go back to the group so we could help him discover some of his friends along with the master’s padawan at a droid prison planet. He told us that he would give us whatever we wanted. So I agreed and asked for a heavy blaster rifle, a scope, a grenade launcher, and a bounty hunting license. Which he later supplied, along with 2000 credits. Although before he left he told us that there would be another team that we would meet up with at the prison. I really didn’t like the group so I asked if I could fly to the facility with the other group or maybe even rent a ship so I wouldn’t have to deal with any groups. Sadly he wouldn’t allow it.
So Mech and I headed back to the ship where the bay was open and we walked in to find bonnie cleaning up the heart that I destroyed earlier. We both headed to our rooms where I attached my scope and my grenade launcher to the heavy blaster rifle. Everyone was quite on the way there but I think they were all glad to have the best shot back in the group.
We got to the ship and slowly wandered inside. We almost forgot about the other group but before we could do anything Mech ran into a room where a huge war droid that had four arms, two with e-webs and two with claws, was rebooting. This was bad enough but it could only get worse. So it did. The rebooting triggered another war droid’s rebooting. The master ran to the droid near Mech and yelled that he would take care of that one. Although before Mech could get out of there the droid smashed him through a wall with its claw. I took out the first war droid while the master took out the other. We all meet up at the prison cells to find Tarrok and Marlina helping out the padawan. Although we finally found the padawan the jedis seemed troubled, soon enough Critter explained that she had no force left within her and they she must have had it sucked out some way or another. I had to fight back a laugh at this point.
We were heading into a room where we could go up a few flights of stairs, over a couple catwalks, through a door, up one more flight of stairs and we would be at the ship. But it wasn’t that easy. When we entered the room we noticed two trucks sitting there along with a big group of people. The two that stood out were a storm trooper and a droid that were standing up front. The droid noticed the master’s lightsaber almost instantly and tried to intimidate us to give him and any others up immediately. I almost did it just because this time it would actually work but soon enough we were all headed up the stairs. I followed suite shortly. We ran and noticed the master stop, his padawan grab two of his lightsabers, the droid was flying up, and the master flung a huge chunk of the wall at him. We all continued until we noticed the two trucks come speeding up. The smaller of the two had a gun mounted on the back while the bigger had about two thirds of the group in it. So Bonnie and Tarrok launched a missile and a grenade into the truck. I was almost at the door when one of the members surged up to the catwalk and yelled do you work for Hound, join us if you do. He was an obvious dark jedi and I wasn’t sure what was worse, a jedi or a dark jedi. On any case I yelled back I don’t work well with people, I barely work well with these people and launched my own grenade into the truck.
We headed up stairs and got into the ship while and took of. Critter had gotten there before us and was able to start it up for our quick get away. We were all taking a quick breather when the padawan stabbed the two lightsabers into the master and cut out. The group looked horrified while I had to hold back another laugh. Although this time when we looked at the padawan we noticed that her face had been pretty beat up in the fight and it didn’t look human on the inside, no it looked more like a droid.

We were all in our battle stations and Critter flew the ship into hyperspace along with auto-pilot. I noticed that I was standing right next to the replica droid and that is exactly where I shouldn’t be. So I quick tumbled away so that I wouldn’t be sliced up. She was really hard to damage even when I got in a nicely placed blast she seemed to shrug it of. We were all having enough troubled when we noticed Bonnie’s cleaning droid had a blaster pistol and the power coupling in the docking bay. Bonnie and Mech rushed in and I heard a few shots fired and then a boom and I heard Mech get hit with something. The rest of us struggled to take out the replica droid. The group seemed to be doing more damage to the ship then to her. We did end up taking her out though and we decided to land on the nearest planet to discus what to do and where to go.
After any long battle or journey there’s nothing better for me to do then go to the cantina, have a few drinks, and gamble. So I did. At first I had about 60,000 credits and was pretty happy with it, but then I started getting lucky. I doubled my winnings giving me a little over 120,000 credits. Then I got really lucky getting 5 times that, giving me about 707,000. I asked around at this and a few other cantinas if anyone wanted to play, but news travels quickly and no one wanted to play. Although many people were coming up and trying to sell me expensive things which I declined.
I got back to the ship and everyone was thinking about heading back to bespin. I was not ok with that because we were already there and we were almost arrested. They claimed to know that there was an ugnot that had information on the droids and the malfunctioning nav computers. I didn’t quite believe them and any way that was all the way across the galaxy, why not go to Bothawui where we could find out if there even was this ugnot there and what information he had or what to know about him. Because after all the spy net is the number one information gathering system in the galaxy. But they all wanted to go to bespin, even if Mech and I thought it would be a waste of time.

We landed on Clod city to find that people were being evacuated. We found a guard who explained that there was an ugnot by the repulsers and that the separatists were threatening to blow up cloud city unless they were to join with the separatists. The separatists gave Cloud city sixty minutes before they would blow it up. Then the guard asked the name of our vessel. I was a little skeptical because they might have records saying not to let us on. But Marlina told him and he thanked us for coming and started to load people on the ship so we could get them of the city. I was about to throw each and every one of them of the ship. But instead we decided to sneak of the ship and try to get to the ugnot.
We started sneaking towards the repulsers we started noticing more and more droids as we neared them. We found a cargo elevator which we took down and saw three mana guards, a droidekas, dozens of super battle droids, even more battle droids, and another replica droid. The replica droid flew over the catwalks towards us. I took a shot at her while the jedis ran up to her, the rest of the group, including Vandal’s padawan Solece, shot at her as well. All of a sudden all the droids started shooting at the elevator. The elevator lurched and fell about a foot. I took a shot at the droidekas doing massive damage. The mana guards started racing towards us, the jedis and the replica droid kept fighting, the rest of the group continued to shot at the replica droid. Then the droids shot down the elevator, we all jumped and grabbed hold of the ledge. We climed up and I noticed Marlina and Solece had lost there guns, I offered Marlina one of my carbines but she already had a heavy blaster pistol.
We then noticed an ugnot who was at the repulsers getting ready to blow them up when he got his orders. But he noticed us and ducked down by the repulsers. I was arming the bomb. The group took down the replica droid and she blew up, while I took down the droidekas. Everyone then started taking down the mana guards. But the droids started to shot down the catwalks we were standing on so after we took down the mana guards we made sure to get away from that catwalk. We took down a majority of the closer droids while the ugnot ran down a hallway and blew up about a quarter of the remaining droids. Vandal started to run in when I noticed an explosive charge. Before I could warn him he set it of blowing up a good chunk of the catwalk. He made it over while I noticed another one more charge and was able to warn the team before they blew it up. I jumped over the catwalk and went to disarm the charge. I was able while everyone else took out a few more droids.
We finished of the few remaining ones and I ran up to the repulsers and disarmed the final explosive. I decided to keep them just in case I needed a little extra fire power. Although the ugnot got away we saved the city and will most likely be rewarded accordingly.
